Colts Win!! Bears Win!!
I missed watching the Bears/Saints game--chores and other real life stuff got in the way. I should have watched--the highlights made it look like a classic Midwestern outdoor football game/mud and snow bowl. The Saints were apparently defeated as much by the weather as by the Bears. Brian Urlacher (UNM alum and a friend of my son's) has a chance to win a Super Bowl ring now.

However--I did watch the Colts/Patriots game--amazing. The Colts worked for their victory in one of the most exciting (comeback for the Colts from 18 points down)/aggravating (weird plays all over the map by both teams--two touchdowns were scored by Colts linemen) games I've seen in a long time.

Guess what--I'm a longtime fan of both Da Colts and Da Bears. Whoever wins the Super Bowl will be OK by me.

I heard this morning that it's been 30+ years since either one of them was in the superbowl. If so (and I make no claim that this radio show was reliable on the topic), then I will be rooting for Da Bears but not begrudging the Colts anything if they win.

My horse[1] never even made it to the starting gate for this one, so I'm just picking a team to root for.

1985 was the last time for the Bears (they won). The last time for the Colts was in the 60s, I think.

I definitely will be rooting for the Colts. Did you see Olbermann last night? Some idiot Bears fan hung a banner saying "What Katrina started the Bears finish" and even worse nobody took it down. I'll go for the Colts.
